Nothing changed in BKK. [Malay Peninsula 2011]

Nothing changed in BKK.  Reading, drinking, sleeping and eating, I enjoy all days here.  This city is still a capital absorbing backpackers from all over the world.  I met some unique travelers sharing time and space together.  In addition , I could met old friends.  They are improving the project, while some member joins in and takes off...

That is enough to refresh myself.  I will back to Tokyo for the national exam preparation.

I get a new start.

[Malay Peninsula 2011]

The radiation crisis has captured recent headlines, they said, but the eyes of the world should be on the primary disaster zone. In coastal northern Japan, as many as 25,000 people have died, and many survivors are still suffering from shock and privation.”

[Malay Peninsula 2011]

A Japanese administrative scrivener in Malaysia. [Malay Peninsula 2011]

Here is too much hot! and nobody understand Japanese and English!  I am now trying to speak in Thai for ordering just a beer and a dish.  The taste is good, but its portion is a little bit small for me.  The temp inside my bus is too much cold so a long sleeve must be brought with me.

Last night, I exchanged some text via Facebook with Thai friends in BKK.  We will have lunch together.

At the same time, I met a Japanese administrative scrivener preparing to the exam to become a judicial scrivener in my hostel.  She told me that she did not need to live in Japan.  Instead she is studying here carrying all study materials and getting online lectures on the web.  We will go to a dinner together tonight.  It is so sad that her hometown is near Sendai City..

Though I will start to study for my national board exam this year, it is not a good idea to study outside of Japan to reduce life expense like her way.  She looks smart, very funny and definitely unique.  We can share a lots and also she minds maybe not to adapt to Japanese society again.

[Malay Peninsula 2011]

China Town in KL [Malay Peninsula 2011]

Now I am in a guest house in KL and reading Japanese Novels with beers.  Here is in the center of KL.  In general asian capitals share ethnic districts providing cheap accommodations and foods for travelers.  While the Malay government continues to cheer Malay people upto achieve higher position here, Chinese Malay has strong power to control everything.

During my typing this text, I am chatting with Japanesefriend staying in SF.  He is a University Student studying to become an OT.  We might share something  more important as for medicine, but he is always chatting about girls, girls and girls.  According to his recent “report,”over 80% of girls belong to his school are much more beautiful than average. His assumption is supposed to be very funny but definitely impolite, so I cannot introduce it here.

Anyway, I will move to George Town tomorrow, which is another world heritage in Malaysia.  That is a little bit far from KL by land, so I am still wondering to do.  Instead, I will skip it and move to the border between Thailand and Malaysia.  Actually, the border is not so safe because southern Thailand has struggled to get independence for a long time. There are some anti governmental groups and their bombs are exploded on street...

An one way air ticket to BKK from KL is cheap but too much easier way than by land.  Honestly, I wanna feel the real atmosphere of Malay andThai border with minimum risk.  Still I have to assess how dangerous my move by land is.

Melaka=Malacca [Malay Peninsula 2011]

Dear all, I am in Melaka in Malay language. Melaka is not spelling miss, which means Malacca in English.  This city has long history behind the red colour old buildings.  Firstly, here was occupied by Dutch, secondly by Spanish, Thirdly by British empire, then by Japanese Empire, and finally got their own independence!!

Melaka is now selected by UNESCO as the first world heritage in Malaysia together with Gorge town.  Hare has many Chinese Malaysian and Indian Malaysian population working in tourist, trading and manufacturing sectors.

This city seems not so huge for walking around by foot.  Last night, I met a Korean female in the back packer and had a dinner in foodcort and strolled along the riverside up to the seaport. Near the both side of the river, there are some attractive buildings for travelers including hotels, restaurants, pubs and souvenir shops.  We bought some fruits at the supermarket(Jusco) and ate them sitting on the river bank.  In addition, she mentioned to the earth quake and the radiation problem in Japan..

Malaka sounds like very mysterious because of its complicated history as a important port for foreign invaders seeking control over the trade between West and East.  I can not explain that, so please check the below link to get more info despite just a Wikipedia^^;

Well, it is definitely true that just a Lonely Planet is not enough to know the behind story of this tiny port, Malacca.  Now, this city has little to do except for reading books and walking around partly because the sea water here is not clear for water activities and Alcohols including beers are more expensive partly because Malaysia is a Muslim country while much of travelers are supposed not to take it seriously.

Anyway, I will move to KL Chinatown right now.  A descent bus took me just a hour and half.

Singapore [Malay Peninsula 2011]

Dear all, I am now in Singapore and will finally arrive at BKK on 27th.  Despite of the huge Earthquake and the Nuclear plant problem, I could not stop my strong motivation for traversing in order to know the other side of world.  I used my mileage card to get a flight thicket and now strolling around the South Eastern Asia including Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.  Singaporean newspaper lets me know that it send 5 emergency person for the earthquake to help the evacuees.  People here are a little bit nervous about the Nuclear pollution but the government has already announced that its effects could be limited because of over 5000km distance from Japan.  Almost all people I met during this travel has mentioned that and said sorry for Japanese.  On the first day arriving at Singapore, I met three Japanese and had a dinner together with them.  One of them has a plan to get married with European and the other is a medical student right now.  I do not know why but I have always met some medical students during my trip to abroad.  They went to the Club in Singapore, while I went to the red light district near the city center to know the reality of Singapore.  From my exp, it is the easiest way to feel the atmosphere of the other side of the  foreign country.  The government of Singapore has controlled the prostitution by strict law , but that is fully legal here.  Though Singapore is very famous of the cleanness and some strict rules adapted even to private life, this city looks like much similar to Osaka in Japan.  There are not only lots of modernized structures in city center, but also many traditional, ethnic, and impolite district.  For example,  I stayed in the cheap backpacker near the world famous Raffles Hotel within 5 mins walk.  It is very symmetrical to the relationship between The Peninsula Hotel and Chungking Mansions in HongKong, isn't it?   Anyway, I am enjoying my last spring vacation right now..
